Ethereal Classics and the 1975 Citroën DS Pallas

I started wondering something.

Why do certain things continue to feel modern long after their moment has passed?

I think, it is not because they were louder than everything around them, but because their creators understood something timeless about people.

The way we want to move, to feel, and to live.

Ethereal Classics is the DNA of Victoria Slavinskaia — the place where timeless craftsmanship meets freedom of movement. Rooted in European luxury traditions, it is our interpretation of Couture for Real Life: pieces created with precision yet designed to move naturally with the woman who wears them.

For this story, we found its unexpected counterpart in a 1975 Citroën DS Pallas.

In France, the DS was affectionately called Déesse — Goddess.

I loved that immediately.

Because more than a car, it became an icon of elegance and innovation. It wasn't built simply to transport people from one place to another. It was created to transform the experience itself.

Like our philosophy, it is always about feeling.

The DS became world-renowned for its legendary hydropneumatic suspension, creating what people called the "Magic Carpet" effect — movement so fluid it felt as if the car floated above the road on a cushion of air.

And I thought: luxury has always been connected to lightness.

Like the legendary Citroën DS Pallas, our Silk Mini Dress feels engineered for suspension — a garment that glides with the wearer, giving her soul a dance. Pure silk follows movement with softness and ease, turning every step into something almost weightless.

The DS itself was designed by Italian sculptor Flaminio Bertoni and was a radical departure from the rigid, boxy forms of its era. Its aerodynamic curves cut through the air with sculptural precision and challenged traditional ideas of beauty.

That same conversation between structure and softness exists within our Wide-Brim Hat with Raffia Fringe.

Borrowing from the aerodynamic spirit of the DS Pallas, the silhouette creates presence while movement creates emotion. A strong architectural form softened by air itself, where the raffia fringe introduces lightness and movement.

A classic form reimagined for the modern Goddess.

And perhaps my favorite detail wasn't visible from the outside at all.

The Pallas represented the most prestigious expression of the DS — a private world of leather, comfort, thick carpets, and quietness designed as a personal sanctuary.

Luxury not for display, but luxury for feeling.

In 1975, the DS Pallas created an intimate connection between craftsmanship and comfort. In our pieces, we continue that philosophy through every stitch, every fold of silk, and every detail created by hand. And with "Luxury is Personal" always in mind.
